Dr Amit Khandelwal

Amit Khandelwal has over 16 years of experience in the field of Cardiology. He has pursued his MBBS & MD in General Medicine from RNT Medical College and MB Govt. Hospital, Udaipur. DM-Cardiology – 3year residency program in interventional cardiology from the Institute of Post-Graduation Medical Education & Research (IPGME&R) and SSKM Group of Hospitals, Kolkata. He has worked as the Director and Head Cardiovascular Sciences at GBH American Multi-specialty Hospital, Udaipur for almost a decade. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, Europe – FESC & also an Associate Fellow of the American College of Cardiology – AFACC.

During the last 16 years, Dr. Amit khandelwal has performed numerous complex interventional surgeries and have saved many lives. He has performed more than 11,000 Coronary and Peripheral Vascular Interventions & procedures till now. His area of specialization is complex high risk coronary interventions which includes (Rotablation and IVL-Shockwave angioplasty for heavily calcified blockages, PCI for Bifurcation, left main, chronic total occlusion), Peripheral interventions (Sub-clavian, Carotid, Renal, Aorto-Iliac Interventions), Permanent Pacemaker Implantation (PPI), AICD implantation, Valve interventions, Alcohol Septal Ablation for Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy (HOCM), IVC Filter Placement.

He has been awarded with best cardiologist in Rajasthan and Udaipur several times by different organizations. He had been invited as a faculty by large number of International and National Cardiology conferences across the globe to share his immense expertise in field of interventional cardiology.
